The Artist Jean-Marc Barberis
Born at the edge of the Mediterranean, near Cannes, this self-educated painter has wandered Provence for more than twenty years. He never ceases discovering the infinite aspects and atmospheres of this marvellous region. Always searching for landscape, mood, light and matter interpreted with a rigorous technique. He makes his paintings come alive and catches the observer’s eye by using endless colour facets applied with his palette knife. He will take you for a timeless walk through the open spaces of Haute Provence, where he has painted in his art studio for ten years, to the enchanting shores of the Mediterranean.
Jean-Marc has many private collectors in the U.S.A., G.B., Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, France, Australia...
